Medication

Bring any and all medication to the front office to be stored in the nurse’s office. All medication must also have the proper documentation and paperwork from the nurse to be completed by a physician. School personnel may only administer medication after a physician has given prior approval. No medication (prescription or nonprescription) will be given without proper doctor approval. Rare exceptions may be administering emergency medication at the time of a bee sting, or the giving of sugar in the case of an insulin reaction, etc.. 

Students are not to carry any type of medicine, including cough drops, eye drops or any kind of medicated lotions in their backpacks or on themselves. All medications are to be picked up on the last day of every school year.
