3rd Grade - Gray, Kim

About Me:

My name is Kim Gray & I'm excited to be teaching third grade at Clifford this year!  I've been teaching in the RCSD for almost 7 years.  I started as a parent volunteer when my own kids were attending Adelante, and then joined the RCSD after completing my Teacher credentialing program.  I've worked with TK, taught First grade, Kindergarten, and this will be my fifth year teaching third grade. I love to get my students excited about great chapter books.  Third grade is an important year for reading, and I strive to bring my passion for reading to our classroom.  I want the students to leave third grade feeling excited about reading!

I'm originally from Nashville, Tennessee. I studied in Knoxville, Tennessee, while doing my undergrad program at the University of Tennessee.  My family has also lived in Seattle, Washington, San Francisco, and Singapore.

I love to travel, I love learning about new cultures, their celebrations, and especially new foods!  I welcome parents to share anything their family celebrates here in our classroom!  

I'm thrilled to be at Clifford and in such a supportive community.
