I am truly honored to continue serving Clifford School. I feel fortunate to have the continued opportunity to nurture and support a dynamic learning community that works collaboratively to strengthen the academic and social achievement of all students.

The majority of my career in education has been spent teaching special education in grades K-12. Additionally, I taught in the general education classroom as an inclusion teacher in grades 4 & 5. Furthermore, I worked as an instructional coach for K-5 mathematics. I also contributed to the development of the Common Core Mathematics Curriculum for the San Francisco Unified School District.

My educational philosophy is when we provide outstanding instruction and foster meaningful personal connections with our students we support each student’s academic achievement, personal development, civic responsibility, and lifelong learning.

I am passionate about teaching and learning and building strong relationships with all stakeholders. I hold myself personally accountable for ensuring that opportunities and support systems exist at every level so all students reach their fullest potential.

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Education, with a focus on Leadership and Administration from San Francisco State University. For my undergraduate work, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature. I live in San Francisco, where I enjoy spending time with my wife, four children, and our two dogs.

I look forward to another wonderful year at Clifford!
